I was inspired to make these shelves after seeing a trapezoid shaped shelf that I liked. These are parallelograms, also part of the polygon family, and are made from reclaimed redwood and red oak. 

These are small shelves, measuring just over two feet end to end, 8 inches tall, and 3.75-5.5 inches deep (depending on shelf). Great place to throw your keys, display some small pictures or knick knacks, as a bedside shelf to put your phone on at night, or any other number of things a shelf is used for.
