Reclaimed Redwood Bench with Inlay

Price: $150

Size: 17 inches long, 10 inches wide, 2-5/8 inches thick, and overall 18-5/8 inches high

When I got this piece of wood it was looking pretty ugly, but I saw potential in it. This piece is most likely old growth redwood taken from Northern California long ago when San Francisco was being built. As I sanded off the years of dirt and grim it started to reveal some beautiful details. And even though it looked great on its own, I decided to inlay two pieces of lighter wood along its length to add some extra detail. Once the wood was sanded, it was finished with a blend of natural oils to keep it looking great for years. It sits on two raw rusty flat steel legs with a clear semi-gloss finish coat which give it a rustic look.
