I made this side table from an old drawer that, it seems, was used by a welder working in the shipyard  here in San Francisco. Probably from the 50’s, the drawer has a rustic character, with a large steel drawer pull, and plenty of bumps and bruises from its previous life. It’s finished with a food safe oil blend, and sits on black, steel hairpin legs.
