This stool is made from different types of wood salvaged from a house in the Sunset district of San Francisco. The sides were exterior siding, and the step is part of a joist. I decided to leave the white paint on the inside for some contrast.
I built this stool for personal use. I have beehives on my roof, which I access by going through a window in my bathroom, and then up a ladder. Not the ideal situation, but it’s much easier now that I have this stool to give me a boost.
