This piece of wood was salvaged from a local home in the Sunset district of San Francisco. Douglas Fir was used a lot in the construction of the homes in the Sunset when they were originally built. This table has a simple design with some nice details in the wood, brought out by sanding and then finishing it with a food safe blend of natural oils.
